The method

How we work

Every engagement follows the same progression. We begin with observation, and we recommend only on what we find.

Six phases

From observation to a standard that lasts.

Timelines depend on the property. Each proposal sets them out.

  1. i

    Diagnostic

We arrive quietly and observe the property in operation: guest flow, service rhythm, the bar, the brand and how the leadership works together.OutputA written reading of what we found, and a recommendation.

  2. ii

    Design & Development

We design what the reading calls for: the beverage programme, the service language, the brand direction, the cost controls and the order in which it all happens.OutputA complete programme: recipes, costing, standards, training material and brand alignment.

  3. iii

    Implementation

We put it in place on site with your team, in real service, not in a meeting room.OutputThe new programme running in the property.

  4. iv

    Training & Calibration

Observation, training, practice, feedback, calibration and validation. Knowing the standard is not the same as being able to deliver it under pressure.OutputTrained teams, calibrated leadership and Guardians identified.

  5. v

    Handover

Authority returns to your leadership gradually, under real conditions. No sudden transitions.OutputLeadership that owns the standard.

  6. vi

    Protection

Guardians hold the standard from inside, with reviews and recalibration so it doesn’t drift.OutputA system that holds after we leave.

Our framework

The Rhythm Standard™

How we train every team, built on three parts: Preparation, Threshold and Protection. Before the experience begins, the guest is gently relieved of having to perform. When something shifts, service notices without interrupting. Once something opens, service protects it.

  • Care anticipates. It doesn’t react.
  • Fewer words protect presence.
  • Timing matters more than technique.
  • Guidance replaces choice when choice would interrupt.
  • The highest care is knowing when to step back.

Our framework

The Guardian Model™

Consulting has a flaw: the consultant leaves and the system fades. Training wears off. Standards drift. The investment erodes.

So in every engagement we select and train one or two of your people as Guardians: people who understand why the standards exist, can see drift early, and have the authority to correct it before a guest feels it.

I

Operational Guardian

One property. The first line of defence, protecting the standard in daily service.

II

Regional Guardian

Several properties. Consistency across locations within a region.

III

Master Guardian

Trains future Guardians, under JFB supervision.

Guardians are chosen for temperament, maturity and alignment with the standard. Certification lasts 12 months, and renewal needs a performance review and recalibration.

Beverage Architecture

Drinks designed for one place and no other: its climate, its landscape, its guests and its story. Every ingredient earns its place, and every technique serves how the guest should feel, not the performance behind the bar.

That is why every drink we design carries its story: what property it was made for, and why.
